CustomLink 3493 should be used for the mounting of Simulated Divided Lights (SDL) grill, to both the inside and outside of IGU‘s (insulated glass units). This innovative product utilises a solvent free, pure acrylic adhesive system, that provides excellent quick stick properties, with an excellent bond strength, that ensures the grill mounts securely and permanently to both the glass and muntin bar surfaces, ensuring that the bar does not shift or lift. In most instances, can be applied without the need of silane based primers.
CustomLink 3493 utilises a high density, closed cell polyolefin core with a high performance, solvent free, pure acrylic adhesive coated to both sides.
This pure acrylic system has very good wetting out properties, to both glass and many other bar substrates, so as to ensure a highly secure, water tight bond. Our adhesive provides a permanent bonding solution and is highly resistant to environemntal factors, temperature extremes, moisture, UV, proprietary cleaning products and the rigours of expansion, contraction and warping of muntin bar when in situ.
CustomLink 3493 utilises tear resistant, low relase poli liner, that ensures easy and quick, one piece removal.
